Tuesday, March 3, 1942

The newspaper clipping pertains to the Canadian Army Train's proposed visit to Industrial Cape Breton in March, 1942. The train was an exhibition to showcase Canadian military equipment to the general public in order to assist in the sale of Victory Bonds and to encourage recruitment. George Saunders presided over the committee meeting and explained the purpose of the train to the committee members.
