Reverse of the Above Postcard

The card is from the Sergeant-Major and Staff of the School of Instruction at Chelsea Barracks in London and is addressed to the Sergeant-Major and Members of the Sergeants' Mess of the 185th Battalion.

A handwritten note on the bottom by George Saunders says, "Where I was last February".

George Saunders stayed in these barracks when he was on a course there in 1917 during his time with the 185th Battalion (Cape Breton Highlanders).
