Christmas Card

185th Battalion (Cape Breton Highlanders)

Christmas, 1917

This is the front cover of a 185th Battalion Christmas Card from Christmas, 1917. The 185th Battalion was still in England at the time. The card consists of a folded piece of cardstock type paper with a ribbon that appears to be an Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders tartan pattern. This tartan pattern was adopted by the 185th Battalion for their kilt design. The front has an embossed 185th Battalion crest in the shape of the battalion's collar badge. The card opens to display two inside pages. The images of the two pages are shown below. The back cover is blank.
