This section contains a four page letter written by Wilson Beaton on October 7, 1917, while he was in the 185th Battalion (Cape Breton Highlanders) CEF and stationed at Whitley Camp in England. It is addressed  to his sister Mary. The letter is written on Canadian YMCA stationery.
