Wilson Beaton

Circa 1916-1917

Studio portrait photo of Pte. Wilson Beaton. He is wearing the uniform of either the 185th Battalion (Cape Breton Highlanders) or the 246th Battalion (Nova Scotia Highlanders). The collar badges are very similar for both units and are hard to identify for certain in the photo. The photo was probably taken in Nova Scotia before Wilson went overseas.
