Officer Cap Badge

75th Lunenburg Regiment

Circa 1900-1920

Pictured above is an example of a two piece officer cap badge for the 75th Lunenburg Regiment. The badge is flat backed but scooped out at the crown and at the banner on the bottom. It has two lugs. The main body of the badge appears to be made of copper with a gilt finish and a silver "75" overlay attached with four rivets. Stamped on the back is "J.R. GAUNT MONTREAL". The badge measures approximately 38mm wide x 44mm high.
