Collar Badges

40th Battalion (Nova Scotia)

1915-1916

Pictured above is an example of a matching pair of other rank collar badges for the 40th Battalion. The collar badge design is similar to the cap badge. They appear to be constructed of pickled copper or brass with smooth backs, each with two lugs. "R.J. Inglis Limited" is stamped on the back of each one. The badges measure approximately 30mm wide x 32mm high.
