Cap Badge

40th Battalion (Nova Scotia)

1915-1916

Pictured above is an example of an other rank cap badge for the 40th Battalion. It appears to be of pickled copper construction. The badge is smooth backed with two lugs. There is no manufacturer identified but it is believed to be R.J. Inglis Limited based on the similarities of the named collar badges. The badge measures approximately 36mm wide x 42mm high.
