Guard of Honour Inspection During

100th Anniversary Ceremonies

2nd Battalion The Nova Scotia Highlanders (Cape Breton)

October 16, 1971

Brigadier General G.C. Piercey, commanding officer of Militia Area Atlantic, inspects a guard of honour from the 2nd Battalion The Nova Scotia Highlanders (Cape Breton) during ceremonies for the 100th anniversary of the unit.

The guard commander, on the far left, is Major Terrence (Terry) MacDonald Mosley.

In the colour party on the right of the photo, left to right are:
1.  WO G.F. Fraser
2.  Lieut. Gordon P. Gabriel
3.  WO Walter J. Wojick
4.  MWO Earl S. O'Callaghan

Terrence Mosley was commanding officer of the battalion from 1974 to 1975.

Gordon Gabriel was commanding officer of the battalion from 1982 to 1985.
