3.  Cpl. MacIntyre (President of the Troops)
4.  Lt-Col. Robert (Bob) Kipping (commanding officer of the battalion)
5.  Howard Allan ( his rank is probably lieut. or capt.)
6.  CQMS John Clarke

Both Mark Johnstone and Howard Allan would later command the battalion.

John Clarke became the regimental sergeant major of the battalion. He later began collecting artifacts and photos related to the history of the unit. His collection grew to become the Cape Breton Highlanders Museum with John as curator.
