2nd Battalion The Nova Scotia Highlanders (Cape Breton)

On the far left is Lt-Col. Howard John Allen, the incoming commanding officer of the battalion. He was in command from 1989 to 1992.
In the centre is Col. Ian Duncan Curry Macintyre, commander, Cape Breton Militia District. He was a former commanding officer of the 2nd Battalion The Nova Scotia Highlanders (Cape Breton) from 1975 to 1979.
On the far right is Lt-Col. Mark Hugh Johnstone, the outgoing commanding officer of the battalion. He commanded the unit from 1985 to 1989.
