The photo was taken on Maynard Street, outside the rear doors of the Halifax Armoury.
The commanding officer of "C" Company was Major Murdoch Arthur McKay, formerly of the 78th Pictou Regiment "Highlanders".
Note that this image has not yet been fully edited to remove spots, dirt, blemishes, etc.
